The Great Sham called Congress (I) Party...Pseudo Secularism

I just got to know that in today's All India Congress Committee (AICC) meet Congress deflected Scam (CWG & Adharsh Society) questions and spoke about Saffron terror. I am not a political person affiliated to any political party but a concerned Indian citizen worried about my Nation's health and today as an Indian Citizen my head hung in SHAME by actions of ruling party i.e. Congress (I) Party in Central.Nowadays i have started taking interest in Nation Politics and the biggest disappointment for me is Congress (I) Party and by this i don't mean other political parties are good. It is like 'Hamam Main Sab Nange!'

Now coming back to topic; As Aam Aadmi of Congress Party if i want to find any logic why AICC brushed off Scam allegations under carpet and talked about saffron terror than i can think of only one and it is Pseudo Secularism. Pseudo Secularism is one trait which is followed by Congress Party and its members aggressively coupled with Aam Aadmi funda.Today i will touch base on Pseudo Secularism of Congress Party. Its a classic example of Divide and Rule which Congress has learned from Britishers. Over the years Congress created fear in Minorities Communities against Majority Community and this has payed rich dividends to Congress party. Congress Party understood one thing that Minorities vote in group and they vote to party which promises their safeguard above development. Now you will ask in free and democratic India where rule of Law & Order should be there why a political party agenda is to safeguard Minority Communities. This is where skills of Congress Party comes into picture. In the name of safeguard of Minority community Congress party has successfully created a pseudo threat called right wingers/saffaron terror/fanatic hindus and keeps this pseudo threat relevant all the time. To create this pseudo threat incompetent state police again a legacy of Congress party played an important role. We all know that India is Secular country not because Minorities wanted it but because Majority specially Hindus wanted it and we also know that generally in all groups (large or small) there always will be fringe/fanatic elements which does things which never reflects sentiments of the particular group. There is no denial that there is some fringe/fanatical Hindu groups who create nuisance and state/central government should keep check on them but 50 years of Congress rule has done something interesting. Congress has never curbed fanatical elements from both the side and due to sheer number of majority Congress Party was able to convince minorities that fanatical element of majority pose threat to their existence in India. So in a nutshell a threat to individuals life and freedom is successfully converted into conflict between Majority Community and Minority Community by Congress Party and in this conflict by self proclamation Congress party has become custodian of Minorities Interest. This mantra is the key of survival of Congress in large part of India. Congress knows that at time of poll if Congress can convince Minorities that there is threat to their existence then Minorities will ignore petty things such as corruption, development etc and vote in favor of Congress which in turn will help Congress to win Mandate. Due to this politics of divide and rule policy Congress knows that how much concerned citizens shout from their roof top about corruption it is not going to affect their political prospect.

I guess time has come has come when our Minority brothers should stop taking bogey threat of right wingers/saffaron terror/fanatic hindus created by Congress and other political Secular parties. Minority brothers should tell such pseudo secular parties that this country is as much their as it is of Hindus and Minorities don't feel threatened from any one in their own country. Minorities should tell these pseudo secular parties that rather then protecting interest of only minority community all pesude secular should work to bring law and order situation to each part of country where everybody should feel safe.

Am I Ravana and you are Ram?

After long time…got time to sit back and introspect/retrospect…during this exercise one thing which kept me bothering was hypocrisy practiced by people…time and again I have seen people judging others on moral & social parameters…before judging themselves on very same parameters…and this pisses me off to no end…first and foremost thing why people can’t mind there own business and try to become incarnation of Lord Ram or Goddess Sita instead of interfering in somebody else businesses ,pointing fingers and proving the fact that he is Ravana…

It pains me more because I don’t indulge in such things…I always believed (excluding exceptions) that man lives & behaves per circumstances/surrounding…this explains why a Hindu behaves differently than a Muslim…why a European behave differently than an Asian…why a Communist behave differently than a Capitalist…here I know some people will argue that aren’t there some specific set of rules to which all human being subscribe to and precisely at this point I want to ask question what those specific set of rules are…speaking truth, helping others out…what else…but no where one get rights to point finger at somebody and specially when one doesn’t adhere to same moral and social standards to oneself…mine is very small case which made me put my thoughts in word but just take the example of Pakistani cricketers involved in spot betting…you will found whole Indian Subcontinent slamming them for this indecent behavior when everybody know that given the chance they will not be able to resist the same temptation…I am not trying to justify vices but are human being not complex and prone to SINs…Most of the time we avoid committing a SIN just because of Fear not because of our high moral standards…I truly believe in power of Karma and being Mortal I am prone to make mistakes and I guess for every mistake…I have to suffer…I have to repent but I like to tell people…Just Mind Your Own Business…

Guess I can rant about this to the infinite but one thing I got to know and its practically correct…due to lack of opportunity where a person can not get or indulge in objects of desire assumes him/herself on a morally high ground to castigate anybody who commits the very sin…and now I just laugh on such people cause given the chance they will do the same thing…its just luck is ain’t there side…so mate you keep on cribbing and I keep on enjoying my life…and if I am wrong somewhere…I will suffer the consequence of it by Almighty and will ask forgiveness from same Almighty…

Thy name is Narendra Modi so Hate Me

Disclaimer: I firmly believe in principals of Mahatma Gandhi when it comes to conduct in public life so everything that follows thereafter is written without any bias and prejudice.

I am going to talk about Mr. Narendra Modi the bad guy for press because of his questionable secular credentials post Godhra. Lot has been said in his defense and his against so I don’t want to go down the charted territory. I just wanted to discuss the contrast that leaves me baffle that one CM can become pariah because of a riot caused by him (If this is correct!)…but one late PM can get away (even gets Bharat Ratna) despite the comment he made after Sikh Riots organized by his own secular party. I will like to quote his comments: "Some riots took place in the country following the murder of Indiraji. We know the people were very angry and for a few days it seemed that India had been shaken. But, when a mighty tree falls, it is only natural that the earth around it does shake a little."

Pretty confusing…I don’t understand why a former Prime minister was and is Darling of Secular Media despite the fact that he goofed up lot many time for ex: Sikh Riots, Shahbano Case, Bofors Scam, Bhopal Gas Tragedy etc. Like to remind one thing that Sikh Riots happened due to death of a Late Prime minister, was perpetuated by the party of the assassinated Prime minister and her Son later tried to defend it. In his government India saw Bhopal Tragedy where thousands of people died and maimed and still counting and yet the beloved secular leader and his party gave free passage to an American Businessman whose company was responsible for the whole massacre. Now comes Mr. Narendra Modi, he has no immediate family and none of his family member died during Godhra Railway attack. He is held responsible for Godhra Riots because he told state police not to act as fanatic Hindus created havoc in state. Both are wrong but why one is Darling of Media and another cynosure of Media.

Our ruling Secular party take on Bhopal Gas Tragedy is forget past and lets work together for future and our secular media bought this argument. Yet when Mr. Narendra Modi after all his development work in Gujarat asks for redemption no one is giving him a chance. Hail Secular Media…

WOMEN RESERVATION BILL

So after going through lot of blogs, television debates, newspaper article, me and mango man pondered about Women Reservation Bill which was introduced in Rajya Shabha by Congress (I). Right now the status of bill is, it is passed by Rajya Sabha and Congress (I) is embracing to put this bill in Lok Sabha. Coming back to me and mango man pondering over this Bill…Mango man got supercharged when he got to know about the intricacies of this Bill. You know when Mango Man become super charged it’s very hard to cool him down so for the sake of my well being I asked what are the problem he sees in the Bill. I didn’t knew this was coming but he gave me a very big lecture on the pros and cons of this Bill and I like to share with you what Mango Man has to say about this Bill.

This Bill will out rightly kill the Indian Democracy:

The biggest concern of Mango Man is this bill will kill our Democracy and Democracy will be replaced by Quotacracy (MS Word has underlined this word in red as it’s not in the dictionary but it will be part of dictionary very soon.). Now what does Democracy means? Meaning of Democracy from Dictionary.com: a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.
After implementing this bill the supreme power vested in people and free electoral system will be taken away and we the people have to vote for pre decided group of people and in this case it will be gender. If suppose as a voter I don’t want to vote for a women contestant and want to vote for somebody from different gender than my right as a voter is killed by this bill and it’s a very dangerous thing. You start with a picture of utopia and end up in Hell. The best example is Communism where founding principal is to provide equality in term of class, gender and so on but not by choice but by force and we know the result.

Achieving Empowerment of Women through this Bill is mirage:

Political parties which are supporting this bill are saying that his bill will empower women. Can I ask loudly… HOW? Suppose we have this reservation and political party has to field a Women candidate to fight an election, to win election political parties have to look for winnable women candidate and who are those winnable women candidate…poor woman, dalit women, illiterate women…no..not at all…women who has clout and affiliation to rich or political family…so again money, power and dirty politics will come into picture. People who are fighting to implement sub quota in overall quota are right and if somebody says that who is stopping political parties to field muslim, dalit etc women in reserved women seat, by same argument any sane person can reply back that who is stopping political parties to field women politician in general category and why are we having this discussion of reservation.

Women can only understand problem of women and children:

All feminist cry hoarse that in a parochial and patriarchal society women are not treated well and only women can understand their issues and can find solution. Point taken MADAM…then I guess same logic goes for different Class group, Caste group, Religion group…if only a person belonging to a particular group can understand problem of his/her group and capable of finding solutions to those problem than I guess our current parliament system should be abolished and people should be given parliament seat based on their group loyalty and they should represent that particular group only. I thought that in a mature democracy an elected representative will hear issue and concern of all groups and try to achieve a solution which will benefit all. May be I am wrong. I always believe that a good human being will always think for betterment of not only his/her fellow humans but also of whole earth. It doesn’t matter if a good human being is male or female. Anyway if a particular group has lot many grievances and it need detailed attention than it can call for separate ministry with a minister belonging to that particular group and for women rights there is already a Independent National Women Commission and dedicated Ministry…I don’t know why they need separate quota.

Women are not a minority in society:

Nowadays all elite (affiliated to rich and mighty family) women are shouting from their rooftop that current political environment doesn’t provide fair chance to women to win an election. What is the current political environment…select the majority voter base on the basis of caste, creed, religion etc (whatever group which can win you an election) from your constituent and convince them to vote for you. I don’t understand when a Dalit leader can ask for Dalit vote why not a woman leader can ask for women votes. It’s all about convincing your voter base to vote for you and if you are able convince all the women voters to vote for you then I don’t see any reason why can’t you win an election. If we take worst Male to Female gender ratio…it will not go beyond 60:40 and if we talk in term of math than in an election approximate 40% of total population vote and out of that only 15-20 % of vote is needed to win election so in the nutshell you need only 8% vote from total population…hmmm so now if a woman candidate can convince half the adult women to come out (assuming that 30% of total population are adult women )and vote for her than she has 15% total votes. I guess now you can do the math and tell who can win the election.

When mango man got tired explaining me pros and cons of Women Reservation Bill…he gave a clarion call of Hail Democracy…Fall Quotacracy and went to fetch a glass of water for himself leaving me alone thinking…I guess you should also take some time out to think about it…

Least Trusted Indians :(

Most Trusted Indians: http://ibnlive.in.com/news/kalam-tops-trusted-indians-list-one-cm-bottoms-out/110929-3.html?from=tn

So the Cat is out of the bag, the people who are responsible for well being of our great country are least trusted. Am I surprised, no…not at all and so do Mango Man. I guess Politicians know this thing very well that’s why they go around with Security and I must tell you that they are not securing themselves from terrorist or God knows what danger but they are securing themselves from public anger.

I don’t know about other but talking of myself, I don’t respect any of the politicians but I do afraid of them because they are goons with security, what an ironical situation Sir Jee! The most funny thing I find is Political Class wasting public money shamelessly on creating statues, naming public places and bestowing national honor to their fraternity people when we all know that how pathetic administrator and most important the person they were or are (I am not talking about exception as they always exist). I guess it’s high time that politicians come out of bubble and start living in reality. There is no taker of them and they shamelessly try to grab the name, fame and so called respect by attending all the film parties & function, Sporting event & function (mainly Cricket) and rubbing shoulder with Industries big wig.

The catch-22 situation is here is when you go and tell politicians how bad they are; their defense will be that they are chosen by public and if they are that bad then public can stop choosing them. Huh! Do they seriously believe that we elect them out of our happiness. Come on Dude, the population which is literate and intellectual never supports your antics but alas they are in minority and you also discard them because you have majority of poorly informed electorate which vote for you for different reasons. Seriously, wait for the day when whole of India will become discerning voters and will discard your antics and populist measure and will vote for genuine people who want to serve the nation.

By this Blog, I challenge all Indian Politicians to give away their security and red bacon car and then gauge the public perception of them purely on terms of work they did as a politician. I see all of them failing miserably. Generally when a student fails she works hard to pass in next examination but what to say about our shameless, corrupt, power hungry etc (I am running short of adjectives) politicians.

Indian Democracy...Are we Served or Ruled????

Me and MangoMan were watching Republic Day parade yesterday and don't know how this discussion started...does our government rules us or serves us? MM, the pessimist he is, told me that our government rules us as ruler but I told him that it can't be possible as we are living in democracy and government serves us. MM scoffed at me and told me to open my eyes and see the kind of life our elected representatives live and how much they are inaccessible to the people who elects them and even the party who forms the government either in centre or in state is called ruling party. I didn't want to tell MM but i guess he had point.

Lets start with king size life of our Politicians! May soul of all the Kings and Nawabs rest in peace as they must be restless in heaven or hell when they see our politicians in Lutyens Bungalow, roaming around in array of cars and protected by army of guards. Gosh they ever look like servant of people. They do wear Khadi and practice austerity in public but is it for real. I don't know what kind of life they lead but when a communist like Late Mr. Jyoti Basu use to have Single Malt Whiskey daily and spend his summer vacation in Europe it gives you a rough idea and still you have iota of doubt then gate crash the wedding parties of our austere politicians. Man! they can bring shame to Queen of Elizabeth!! I know I can keep on bashing our politicians but the most shameful thing they do while running this dog and pony show is taking we the public as fool. Now the accessibility to our politicians! Try reaching to any local politicians and you will feel that indeed they are very busy...yeah busy in opening showrooms, managing sports federation, inaugurating their statues and doing lot many things which i can't mentioned but they don't have any time meeting electorate who have voted for them. Now we know why they do that...one their is no obligation to meet us and second again they feel that we are fool and going to elect them again and again. I have another problem with our politicians, why the hell they need state sponsored security. A politician with all the body guard surrounding him doesn't seems like a public servant but a monarch and seriously it makes me wonder do we have abolished monarchy or just replaced one set of people with other. Politicians say that they need security as there is threat to their life...hmmm...If this is the case then i guess all the policemen and army men need security personnel.

Now there is no meaning in pointing out the issues but not suggesting the solution. To realize our politicians that they are not ruler but public servant we have to do few things. In India with great power comes great money so to change that to with great power comes greater responsibility i suggest Income Tax Department should form a special cell to only monitor the assets of Member of Parliaments and every year (till the time they are in parliament) IT should publish their findings. I guess this will help to solve the corruption problem as it is very easy to monitor 500+ parliamentarians and when these parliamentarians will not be able to do corruption they will obviously not let other people do it. Regarding the accessibility of politicians, i suggest that in this net era they should surely have their web-page which should tell about their schedule, work, initiatives and things like that. Public representatives should also have one office in their constituency and they should spend mandatory time in parliament and in their constituency. Coming to security of politicians, i want to tell these guys that there is something called occupational hazard. If your work for society creates threat for your life then you can very well leave it and rather then just securing your life you can work to make law and order so good that nobody dares to kill anybody and everybody feels safe. I do believe that in national interest some constitutional post such as the post of the president, the prime-minister, the chief justice of India etc should be protected from all external and internal threat. The list of important constitutional post can be drawn by competent authority and should not be change too often. I hope all these suggestion will work to make our politicians humble servant of public from the ruler as they are right now...

We don't need no Rouge Police...We don't need no Corrupt Bureaucracy

One late night MangoMan was singing We don't need no education by Pink Floyd while returning home unaware of the fact that our beloved beat constable was also taking round that night not for the safety of people but to collect payoff from pimp, prostitutes, drug peddlers and usual suspects. MM shrilled voice pierced silence of the night and reached to ear of beat cop who was just round the corner. Cop, flashing his baton, came running to MM and asked why he is singing so loud in the night and is he drunk or on dope. Our poor MM thought that cop is just enquiring so he told that he is not singing loud and he is absolutely not drunk and he will mind his business but the cop was in no mood to relent so he told MM that he was creating noise pollution and under blah blah article its crime to make noise after 10:00 PM so MM needs to come with him to nearest police station. Hearing this from Cop, MM got into argument with Cop without realizing the outcome of the argument. Cop asked MM about his background and after making sure that MM is just an ordinary Joe without any connection he gave a tight slap to MM and told MM to keep his mouth shut and never to argue with a Cop and if MM will keep on arguing with him he will give a beating of his life and put him in Jail. MM a law abiding and tax paying citizen never thought in his wild dream that he can be so badly treated by a beat constable...a constable. A slap from a constable directly impacted the pride of MM who is an IIT graduate doing perfectly good in his job and was schedule to go to USA in couple of month. MM got misty eyed and asked cop what he wanted and pleaded with cop to let him go. Cop flashed a crooked grin which will bring shame to hardened criminals. Cop asked MM to pay him 100 buck and ask for forgiveness. MM did the both as fast he could and sprinted back to our apartment without looking back. I was as usual goofing around at our place but when i saw MM entering crying. I sensed something happened wrong with MM so gave him a glass of water and asked him what happened. Sobbingly he narrated me the horror story of which he was the hero, in between taking break to drink water. MM kept on crying and saying how a cop that too a constable can behave so inhumanly with him. When i tried to remind him that he is just an regular joe without any connection i.e. neither name of his father nor anybody from his middle class family hold any significance so he has to be more careful while dealing with Police or to say any government officials. MM who had enough from the cop poured all his frustration on me. He started yelling at me, telling me how indifferent i am to his sorry state and because of people like me the government and its official behave the way the cop behaved with MM. Once MM was done he went to sleep but he made me realize that seriously not me but most of the indians will react as I did to MM's situation which is of Indifference and Apathy.

Seriously we Indians speak about becoming World Superpower and all but in the first place we don't expect our government and its subsidiaries to deliver, in-fact we even don't expect officials in government to behave with us in dignified way and the worst of lot is our Police Department. You don't believe me, walk into any government office and specifically police station with your work and ask the officials to get your work done. You will get real nightmare and the taste of India. The public servants, who are there to serve us are the new feudal lords of India. They are there not to help us but to harass us, to mock us, to ridicule us and to make our life miserable and the best part is we take all this. We are use to non-performing government and their officials till the time they don't bother us and don't come to our door step. Hope we will all wake up before they come to our doorstep with this thought i started humming...We don't need no Rouge Police...We don't need no Corrupt Bureaucracy in the privacy of my house in a very hush voice so that my neighbor hood beat constable doesn't get disturbed.

Note: Some horror stories of our Police force:

MangoMan Jumping The Signal

If somebody wants to know how much we Indians are busy or running short of time…she should observe the behavior of people waiting at traffic signal for red signal to turn green under the auspicious presence of a Traffic Cop. After spending 2 years in United States where traffic laws are tough, breaking them brings high penalties and the aggravating factor is cops don’t take bribe easily, I have somehow come to respect the traffic signals. So after coming to India when I started driving my friend’s bike, I kept my good habit going i.e. to stop at red light. This exercise has given me ample opportunity to observe the behavior of people waiting at Traffic Signal and I can authoritatively conclude that we Indians are very busy or running short of time, after all it requires lot of effort as a nation to catch up with our beloved neighbor CHINA on growth rate and economic indicators.

Here is a shorty on how a person approaches a traffic signal in India. Our MangoMan (whom now onwards I am going to refer as MM) is cruising on a busy road on a Monday morning in a perfect Brownian motion which will bring shame to particle suspended in fluid. MM has got perfect space detector and locking system embedded in his eyes so he can use space available on the road to the optimum. Our MM is in total control of his vehicle while dodging other vehicles, pedestrians, pot holes, cows, dogs, pigs & blah blah, maneuvering his vehicle like guided missiles, taking sharp turns which will bring shame on F1/Bike racers, racing along like a tiger which is after a gazelle to get to his destination in minimum time possible and while doing all this he suddenly sees Traffic Signal turning to red at approaching busy cross section. MM looks twice at the signal to make sure it is red and approaches it with disdain and cursing. The red light brought redness on MM face as he feels that the signal has turn red just for him and mocking him that dude you are going to see me mostly in red whenever you will approach me. Now there is an invisible war between MM and Red Traffic light and MM wants to beat the Red Traffic light and to do this MM accelerates his vehicle to full throttle which made him smile on the very fact that he is going to jump the signal to show Red Traffic light its worth but alas the smile was on MM face is ephemeral as he spots a traffic cops at the far corner of cross section. The Traffic Cop is a fat man with no interest in his job and is in animated conversation with somebody but his mere presence there was bringing traffic to halt at Red Traffic Light and our MM was no different. MM looked at Red Traffic Light and found a smiling smiley there, he has to act fast and think something so that he doesn’t have to stop despite the odds against him. As first course of action MM started de-accelerating his vehicle in order to buy more time. The logic here is before he reaches the white marker on the road where he had to completely halt, the Traffic signal will turn green. So now our MM is inching slowly to the coveted white marker on the road and simultaneously watching traffic signal. It looks like that today traffic signal is in no mood to turn green so when our MM reaches the white mark at the traffic signal where he had to stop, the signal is still red. MM has to stop now but he keeps on moving but now his speed is comparable to the speed of an ant but the fact that he is moving is providing mental satisfaction to our MM. He has crossed the white mark and the Red Traffic Signal and now he is moving toward the zebra crossing creating issues for people who by mistake using it to cross the roads. Now MM is not able to see the Traffic Signal of his traffic so he is looking jealously at green signal of crossing traffic praying very hard that it should turn red before traffic cop spots him and finds that our MM is moving on disregarding the red signal and worst him. But today MM luck is very bad as it is always so Traffic cop sees MM ahead of the rest of the impatient traffic and still moving slowly on the zebra crossing. By some heavenly intuition MM also founds out that the Traffic cops has seen him violating the red traffic signal and his pride and he is coming menacingly towards MM with baton in his hand. Eureka, suddenly MM founds out that crossing traffic signal has turned red but the crossing traffic is still coming. The frustrated cop which was after MM has to stop this traffic and this gave ample time to our beloved MM who blares the horn and speeds his vehicle zooming past the helpless Traffic Cop who is trying to stop traffic. MM turns once last time to see the swearing traffic cop and the traffic signal which were about to rob his pride but when he looks ahead he sees another impending red signal on his way.

Note:I am damn sure if we will factor all the obstacle faced by our MangoMan on the road, his timing from point A to point B can go into Guinness Book of World Records very easily.
